Educate Every
Child

Giving destitute children a chance at good quality education because we believe this will alleviate poverty. So far, TMI has sponsored 580 destitute children and plans to support the education of thousands of children through partner schools

Community
Outreach

It takes a community to raise a  child. So if the community is flourishing our children will too. This encompasses food distribution, female empowerment, mental health dialogues and awareness campaigns.

Talent /Vocational skill
Development

If you judge a fish by it's ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid. We believe there is alot of untapped potential in handskills and talent so we provide training to children and youth

As an Organization, we believe that education is the key to a better future. This doesn't mean formal education only. Hand skills are very important. If COVID-19 lockdown taught us anything, it's that people with such skillz are indeed essential workers.  TMI skills the youth in tailoring, mechanics and hairstyling.

Phionah, TMI alumni

Not only me but 3 of my other siblings were lucky enough to get this opportunity.Fast forward to 2021, I have graduated from fashion school. My dream career. Candee, my sponsor, i love so much. You do not know how broken my life was when you chose me, and my words may never explain how your care for me for over 14 years has changed my life.

Mwarabu. TMI parent

The wars and conflict in my country, Congo, had me frightened about my family. I have three beautiful girls and a little boyand I didn't want them to live through the same trauma that I did so we fled Congo too seek a better life in Uganda. Being a refugee isn't easy. There is always that uncertainity in your thoughts. My children's education has not been one of the thoughts that keep me up because TMI is educating three of my children. I am grateful

Herbert, resident & staff

Ndejje and Nankinga are communities that were once looked at as hopeless, backward and uneducated. With many children and their parents  living in unimagnable conditions. They now boast of educated children with majority of the households having had over three children enrolled in TMI educate program as well as benefiting from the community projects such as youth skilling, financial literacy classes and many more.
